Old Republic Radio # 42: The Free 2 Play show

Hello Old Republic.  This week we keep the show simple in the wake of Bioware’s announcement of plans to take SWTOR to a free to play model this fall.   So that’s what we are talking about this week.  In the developer dispatch we break down the Free to Play system and dis cuss what we know so far about the system and where we think they will be taking it before they launch.  We also debate the wisdom of this move at this stage if the game as well as discuss the impact of the Free to Play system on the greater SWTOR community.  Also this week in the Community Cantina we discuss you emails on the Free to Play system as well and answer your questions regarding taking the F2P option and the ramification it will have to veteran players, whether it was wise to allow the 1-50 storyline to be free, and many more.  All of this plus the Darkside with Denver Drew.  So we hope you enjoy the show and as always.
